I noticed a couple minor mistakes in two of the directions we had written.
The first mistake is that in the directions to the Biltmore from the Chapel, there is no longer a sign for the Providence Place Mall at Park St. You will know when you’re there because it’s the first right immediately after driving over the highway.
The second mistake is that in directions to the Chapel from the Biltmore, the first light after turning onto Washingston St. is actually Union St. and Matthewson St. is the second light. However, either of these roads will get you where you need to go.
I changed the directions on the Directions page, but the directions that were included with the invitations and the directions that will be found on the programs are incorrect. Please note these minor changes.
If you’re arriving early and looking for suggestions on places to eat or things to do and you didn’t already check, a few posts down there’s a post Where to Eat in Providence and another one Where to Play in Providence. Check those out for restaurants Susan and I enjoy or things Susan and I like to do. If you have a question about anything listed or about Providence or Rhode Island in general, feel free to contact us and we’ll give you some guidance. Rhode Island is a quirky, but fun, little state, and Providence is a fun city. Both have tons to do and see.

in sleep.
Have no fear. You can still get the room block rate, at least at the Biltmore. At the time of this writing, they have plenty of rooms still available. You will need to call their local Providence number (401-421-0700) in order to get the reduced rate. If you have any trouble, feel free to let Susan or me know and we’ll get it straightened out.
Update (6/1): We have received word that you might be able to book online and get a good rate at any of the hotels. Apparently, there is nothing going on in the city next weekend except for our wedding.
